Asia’s nightingale Lani Misalucha finally revealed her health condition she hid for weeks after being pulled out on GMA talent show The Clash and replaced by Pops Fernandez due to disease she caught that she decided not to share to her fans.
At first, her team assured the public that Misalucha is doing okay and only needs to rest and recover.
Although the singer have already denied about the rumors of her testing positive from COVID-19, “fake news” about her situation still circulated on social media.
For the first time, Misalucha opens up about how she is doing lately during her appearance in the Christmas special of The Clash.
According to her, the reason she had to stop singing for the meantime is because she had a throat infection.
While recalling her experience, the singer can not help but to shed a tear as she views her being taken out from the show as something tragic.
“Na-miss ko ang The Clash, na-miss ko mag-work, na-miss ko kayo because you know you’ve also been good to me and very, very wonderful,” she said.
“Maraming salamat sa lahat ng kaibigan, pamilya ko and supporters ko, they’ve been praying for me and I know that and I’m very, very grateful for that.”
Clarified Misalucha, she and her husband Noli suffered from bacterial meningitis, which is “an inflammation of the fluid and membranes (meninges) surrounding your brain and spinal cord,” according to American medical center Mayo Clinic.
